Tuition fees in Iceland can vary a lot - from free to a few thousand Euros. It can also vary from school to school.

At schools that do charge, the fees are far lower than in the US or England. Students from the EEA, the EU and Switzerland will pay no more than about €3000 per year, rising to up to €7000 per year for postgraduate study.
Students from elsewhere can expect to pay no more than €5000 per year for undergraduate study, and about the same as Icelanders for postgraduate study.
PhDs don’t have tuition fees in Iceland. In fact, they’re paid jobs. Many schools offer competitive salaries for their PhD employees.
As for scholarships, these are offered by individual schools and by research councils. Among the most sought after of these is the Iceland Scholarship for PhD studies and the University of Iceland’s numerous scholarships.
