Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology – Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (HCMUT-VNUHCM), established in 1957, is a state-owned and comprehensive university in Vietnam.
The University has been recognized as the leading center of academy, scientific research, and technology transfer in Vietnam.
Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT) is the first and the only university in Vietnam to achieve Accreditation from HCERES (Europe) & AUN-QA (ASEAN) at the same time.
For program accreditation, HCMUT is the first university in Vietnam to achieve ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology Certification, USA) in two majors: Computer Science and Computer Engineering. We also achieved AUN – QA (Quality Assurance in ASEAN University Network Certification) in 9 majors: Telecommunication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial System Engineering, Automatic Control Engineering and Electrical-Electronic Engineering.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT) provides study programs from Bachelor level to Ph.D. level in various majors: Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Management, Information Technology, Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Environment Technology and Management, etc.
For international students, HCMUT offers bachelor’s degree & master’s degree study programs of which the medium of instruction is English.
