Eikei University of Hiroshima (EUH) is a public university, which has been established by the prefectural government of Hiroshima, Japan in 2021. EUH offers a single department named Social System Design based on SDGs-oriented liberal arts subjects and practical programs and is a "22nd Century-type University" that will deliver change makers who will positively change society. The university nurtures practical skills to change society and globally recognized cultural skills so that students can design a future map for the century ahead. The university is actively promoting global collaboration, and even in its second year of operation, has welcomed undergraduate students from 25 countries and concluded partner agreements with more than 20 universities around the world, all of which have contributed to the creation of a global environment at the campus.

Eikei University of Hiroshima aims to foster a cadre of young people who have high aspirations to contribute to local communities and the world amid uncertain socioeconomic circumstances, as well as to boldly take on unsolved challenges, and to tenaciously pave the way for a new era by offering education that develops 5 competencies (abilities and skills) required to thrive in society.

Why Eikei
We develop students' skills to create comprehensive solutions for various challenges, that also create economic and social values. It is aimed at not only for the benefit of individuals but also for creating new social values with SDGs in mind.
We aim for students to acquire foresight to discover core problems of various issues, strategic skills to create solutions, the ability to see things through as leaders, self-improvement skills to continue learning with high motivation, and skills for global collaboration to respect diversity and collaborate with others.

Hiroshima, Whose Population Is About 1.2 Million, Is a City in The Chugoku Region in The Western Part of Japan and Is Known as The Place Where the First Atomic Bomb in Human History Was Dropped.
Many Tourists from Within Japan and Abroad Come to See the Two World Heritage Sites in The Prefecture and The Beautiful Views of The Seto Inland Sea with Its Approximately 140 Floating Islands.
