Stockholms Filmskola

Introduction

Stockholm Film School is one of the world's leading institutes in Filmmaking and Acting. Besides our Swedish program Praktisk Film we also offer an International Program, Second Year Programs - Directing and Cinematography, Scriptwriting program, and Acting program - as well as summer workshops and evening classes. Focusing on the practical aspects of each profession both behind and in front of the camera we ensure that our students are ready for entering the dynamic world of film work immediately after graduation.

Stockholm Film School, founded in 1984, offers programs and courses in practical filmmaking and acting for film.

Our model “The Stockholm Method” combines world-class educational content and targeted master-apprentice training ensuring that each student gets the most out of their time at the school.

Diversity and inclusion are in our DNA, we believe that everyone has a story to tell and we are proud to say that we are the only gender-equal film school in the world.

The school has been named Top International Film School 2021, 2022 & 2023 by The Hollywood Reporter and The Wrap Magazine.
